Hi,

I am Thorsten. In the last 20 years I have served in a number of international leadership roles. Based on these experiences and on my leadership research,  I have developped a passion for servant leadership.

I am convinced of the unique relevance of servant leadership (SL), because in any organization the people are the most important asset, because SL is the most effective way to release the potential of the people, because it works – example of South West Airlines -, and because Christ-Centered servant leadership is based on the example of the No1 servant leader, Jesus Christ.

The blog posts shall communicate the power and beauty of SL, shall encourage servant leaders to grow as servant leaders, and shall challenge any kind of leaders to become servant leaders. I will often draw on gardening analogies to communicate the servant leadership concept. A good number of these analogies you can also find in my articles in “The International Journal of Servant-Leadership” Vol  6, and in publications of the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship, Regent University, on Servant Leadership.
